This program will begin at the Thomas F. Eagleton U.S. Courthouse, and include a visit to the 22nd Judicial Circuit Court of the State of Missouri. You’ll discover first-hand the differences between the two court systems, and learn why our country and state both have a judicial branch. Courtroom observations and time for Q & A with court staff will be included at both locations. Program includes walking approximately 3 city blocks each way.

The Missouri Bar and HEC-TV in St. Louis are partners in producing an interactive Constitution Day Program for students in Grades 7-12.  The broadcast will be held at the Thomas F. Eagleton U.S. Courthouse in St. Louis.  A panel of experts will discuss student questions related to the topic of “Free Speech and Political Campaigns.” Experts include Former Missouri Governor Bob Holden, as well as Diana Bartelli Carlin, Ph.D, Vice President of Graduate Education at Saint Louis University, and Jack Oliver, Former Deputy Chairman of the Republican National Committee.
There are two opportunities to participate—10:00-11:00 a.m. and 1:00-2:00 p.m.
