Freedom Riders Exhibit at the Thomas F. Eagleton U.S. Courthouse

In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday, the U.S. Courts and The Judicial Learning Center will host a national touring exhibition. The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History’s “Freedom Riders” will be displayed on the 3rd Floor of the Thomas F. Eagleton U.S. Courthouse from December 26, 2012 through January 24, 2013.

This exhibition is FREE and open to the public, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., excluding holidays. Click HERE for further information or to register for a group visit.

“Freedom Riders” is a traveling exhibition developed by the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History in partnership with AMERICAN EXPERIENCE. Major funding for the traveling exhibition provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities. Exclusive corporate funding for AMERICAN EXPERIENCE is provided by Liberty Mutual. Major funding provided by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Additional funding provided by Lynn Bay Dayton, Rodger & Dawn Nordblom, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and public television viewers.
